My Top Three Intelligences
1.Bodily/ Kinesthetic: You use all or part of your body to create products or solve problems. Athletes, surgeons, dancers, and craftspeople have this intelligence.
2.Interpersonal: You’re able to recognize and understand the motivations and feelings of other people. Teacher’s psychologists and sales people have this intelligence.
3. Visual/Spatial: You’re able to perceive visual and spatial information. You create effective mental pictures. Architects, artists and engineers have this intelligence.
I process information best through human interaction. But as of late, I’ve best processed information through writing in a journal. I find that during the day, the information that is thrown at my brain is very disorganized and scattered. It isn’t till the later hours of the day, when I have finally have a moment to myself, I write the events of my day down in a journal. Only here is it that I find that I can actually make sense of and process information. In past years I’ve also used exercise as a way of processing information and slowing down my brain. I find that minimalistic things catch my attention. It’s easy for my brain to process plus I love the aesthetic of minimalism. I wouldn’t say I’m a minimalist myself but it’s very eye catching to me. Through journaling I have been able to pinpoint what stays on my mind. I don’t think of much, it really comes down to my bike, my best friend, whichever book I’m reading at the moment and my worries for the future. I’ve had lots of issues with thinking before I speak. It has led me to a lot of trouble, not just in terms of the things I say but my actions as well. Now a days I try and think 4 times before I speak, but sometimes 4 times isn’t enough. Speaking aloud does help me think, as I write this now I speak everything I write. Reading about each of my top intelligences really made sense to me in that I have considered/ been considering careers that people with similar types of intelligence have.
